Any love for the NG-V10 Super robot Vehicle?

Unread post by slade2501 »

While not the latest, the most durable or equipped with the most dakka, I can't help but love this machine. It screams hand to hand combat, sports decent firepower and at 20 ft tall dosn't stand out like a sore thumb. Every time I see the art work I slip into a vision of it throwing down with some brodkil or rolling a coalition APC over. good times.

I can't say it's my favorite, but it's among the first I think of when 'Northern Gun Robot Vehicle' comes up. It's a good fairly-priced plain vanilla 'bot that in the past I've had modified with shoulder-mount rail guns, forearm hardpoints, and TW enhancements. It's the sort of 'bot I could see Chipwell imitating and knocking off if they were so inclined.

The hand to hand combat specs on this machine are REAL good. 1d8 for a kick? that's great! 3d6 MD per punch, 4d6 per claw swipe!
+2 attacks per melee, and another attack at level 5/10.

This thing is a real stomper, a very technical fighter.

It is a very solid basic robot vehicle. Decent platform for adding additional weaponry and good hand to hand fighter/salvage and construction unit.

That sounds like the most awesome Trapper Keeper cover EVER.

Have the PA blare "The Final Countdown" as I beat a thornhead demon to death.

I may just do a sentient EShemarrian NPC based on an NG-V10....Program it with R'Mar kernel programming or highjacked NG robot drone programming, give the head the ability to scuttle free on little legs, a few other off-the-shelf mods, drape in a big monster-leather duster :bandit:
20-ft tall metal man claiming to be a giant labor 'borg.

Dunno want to use for a R'Mar staff, however...Plasma Sycthe staff offa Naruni Reaper? Kludged-together tool polearm from bitz an' pieces of other NG/Black Market'bots?

oh ****, I just compared the specs from Source book 1 and the specs from Source book 1 revised/Northern Gun 1 and they upped the armor MDC and some of the HTH damage in the revised edition/world book. As if it wasn't bad-ass enough already.
We are into some Kung Fury territory here!

We've had a Glitterboys of Legend thread here before. Maybe it's time for a Most Badass NG-V10 thread?
