Returning from a Hell Pit?
Does anyone have recollection of a Rifter, World Book or Dimension Book that describes a character being sent to a Hell Pit (I think it was a Hell Pit) and escaping? It outlined the penalties and possible abilities one would gain after escaping.

I know Rifter 68 has some official material related to MiF, but I don't recall it having a story like you describe. MiF has the info on Hell Pits, and I know there's info about diseases associated with them in that book.

The only thing I can think of that matches this story is "The Devil Sax Man - Heroes of the Megaverse - 71 to 75"
