Question regarding the Mantis Armor From World Book 25

Forgive me if this has been answered somewhere else, but some questions recently came up regarding the abilities of the Praying Mantis Kung Fu mentioned in World Book 25: Heroes of the Celestial Court. Now one of the starting abilities for this mystical martial art is the ability to summon biological armor like a praying mantis and also to summon a spectral praying mantis which can double as power armor to boost ones abilities. Firstly does the spectral mantis bonuses stack in addition to the bonuses that the normal armor grants you? And finally at the highest level of this martial art the Mantis animus apparently becomes a separate living organism and you lose the power armor ability of the mantis. When you get to that point do you also lose the ability to summon the regular bio-armor as well? Or can you summon the bio-armor but just not use the spectral mantis as power armor?
