Rifts WB25 China Heroes
I was reading through the Mrtial Arts Forms and noticed that they don't start with any basic attaks listed, unlike Martial Arts forms from other books. Was this n oversite or were them ment to not start with any attcks?

Re: Rifts WB25 China Heroes
No, the Mystic Martial Arts (Dragon Blade, Cotton Fist, Snake Style, Praying Mantis, etc.) do not start out with any kind of typical starting attacks (basic punch, kick, throws), because it's meant to stack with a regular Hand to Hand style (which does start off with some form of standard strikes). The OCC's in the book specify how to do this.
Example: The Chun Tzu (Philosopher Martial Warrior OCC) first gets to choose a HtH Martial Arts SKILL, then they pick a Mystic Martial Arts POWER on top of that.
Each OCC has it's own description of which types of each (HtH SKILL and Martial Arts POWER) is available to that class. So, in this example our Chun Tzu character might pick Shao-Lin Kung Fu as his Hand to Hand SKILL, and then Chi Manipulation for his Martial Arts POWER.
It's a situation unique to the "China-Heroes" characters, and unlike most others.......threw me for a loop at first, too.
Hope that helps.
