Tattoo Powers/Spells
Tattoo powers that have a spell list available (i.e. Chain Wrapped Around a Cloud)... do you have to pay the PPE cost of the spells too or just the initial PPE cost of activating the power? I couldn't find anything about it either way, so sorry if it's there... but I missed it.

Re: Tattoo Powers/Spells
The cost of the Tattoo covers the cost of any spell ability it grants.

Re: Tattoo Powers/Spells
We have always played that the cost of the tattoo covers the usage of any spells in it.

Re: Tattoo Powers/Spells
Here's another question I have about tattoos...
Since you can only have 6 tattoos active at a time...
A winged weapon dripping blood covered in flames and a coiled serpent is 4 separate tattoos combined into one, so does it count as one or 4 when activated?

Re: Tattoo Powers/Spells
IIRC, that would count as a single tattoo. I don't remember where I read that at the moment though.

Yes
That is, unfortunately, as are so many things about Tattoos, currently a GMs call.
I have seen good, solid, rational arguments for both sides of the issue.
I, currently, am in the camp that says that a tattoo is a tattoo is a tattoo and thus if it counts as 4 tattoos, then when active it is 4 tattoos and you can have 2 others active.
The rules are not a bludgeon with which to hammer a character into a game. They are a guide to how a group of friends can get together to weave a collective story that entertains everyone involved. We forget that at our peril.
