Pretty much all of them. If the shing a race of intelligent spell casting lions is a "space faring" race then pretty much any D-bee can be.

Bind the body to the opened mind

I dream of towers in a world consumed
A void in the sentient sky
I dream of fissures across the moon
Leaves of the lotus rise

1. Any who can adequately advertise a skill-set in demand to prospective employers.

2. Any who own or can rent passage on a spacecraft or who are able to fly into space under their own power.

And there is always places on ships for the "Jane" character. Big dumb and scary so even if a D-bee does not have any space applicable skill if they are big enough and weird enough looking thats probably enough to get them on a berth of some ship or other.

Ninja'ed

Jane, or rather ' Jayne'...From the series Firefly. He's the archetypal big galoot character, mercenary muscle, primarily motivated by impulse and self-interest, and coming across as none-too-bright, except when it comes to packing big guns and hurting people. He's a pair of black shades, a suit, and a zippered lip removed from being a goon, and he's got more character shielding than a mook. He doesn't have to know how to pilot a spaceship or even operate a computer, because when it comes time to punch people out or shoot the hell out of something is when Jayne comes into play in an adventuring party.

Than the Sage among his Books,
For all the Empires and Kingdoms,
The Armies and Works that you hold Dear,
Are to him but the Playthings of the Moment,
To be turned over with the Flick of a Finger,
And the Turning of a Page"
