fun powers?

im looking to play a character that is fun to play as and is slightly annoying for the other players

earlier today i was playing a guy with APS: Shadow and control others and made one of the players dance around claiming he was a pretty princess.

...then he pissed of the wrong person and got shot in the head three times

so now, i want to create a similar character with fun/annoying powers

any helpwould be appreciated

How about Multiple Selves with a sneeze thrown in, every time he sneezes a new double of him pops out. And when they sneeze an another pair, and so on...

Even better -- Holographic Memory Projection paired with Warp Sound (maybe Mental Stun and/or Frequency Absorption added to the mix).

No, you're not controling other people... but think of the fun you could have making anything someone says sound like they're passing gas, or projecting a big neon sign above his/her head that says "my wheel's spinning, but my hamster is dead" or some other unflattering commentary.


Of course, if you really wanted to be good with impressions (or just want to get other characters in trouble), try Shapechange and Mimic...

Hey, some friends of mine went to Origins this year and during play of a different Supers RPG, the shapeshifter changed into the only female PC, with a larger....seat. From the retelling of the story, I sure wish they'd have taken a camcorder

A perfect example of what I'm talking about. So you wanna 'mess' with other characters -- there are a lot of ways you can do that without resorting to Control: Others. It just depends on how much imagination you want to use.

there's lots of powers you can annoy with in PU1, but color manipulation is a minor power with major annoyance potential.

disruptive touch you can mess with other people a lot. especially those with no PE bonuses.

Control others and Invulnerability. This why when they shoot you in the head, it won't matter.

how about Color control, Total Recall, and Holographic Memory projection.

step one....using Color control....make a person's clothes...trasparent.

step two...set memory in memory with Total recall

Step three.....with HMR .... ........
