Super Hero Leaping

A GM could "do" super leaping by applying the lift/carry multipliers from the three super PS types to the normal jumping stats.

Had this thought while responding to another post. Thoughts?

Maybe by applying the throwing distances to their own weight and basically throwing themselves using their legs?

The G.M.'s guide has rules for leaping in the super brawl section.

Or one can just use the Enhanced Leaping power from PU1.

Lifting capacity has very little to do with leaping... best leapers in the world are not the strongest people in the world. Lifting requires more than just strong legs... it also requires strong arms and a strong back to support that weight.

Throwing one's weight is a little problematic in that one can not easily get the proper leverage to throw oneself as they could a baseball or such.

To be honest... this really sounds like someone is trying to get a free power... the ability to leap miles just because he has Supernatural levels of strength.

How many superheroes in comics can leap great distances? How many of those also have high levels of brute strength? How many others have other reasons for their phenomenal leaping ability? In other words... not everyone who can lift a mountain is able to leap over it... and not everyone who can leap mountains can lift them.
There are three types of people in the world; those who can count and those who can't.

Or use something like the Wingless Flight power, but take pains to only ever act like you're just a superhuman leaper.
