Mimic question.

When Mimicking another super and you copy their physical stats, do you take their stats period; even if they are lower than your own?

IMO, yes you should. Otherwise you wouldn't be copying them.

Hmmm. So Mimic has a hidden draw back really.

On the other hand, I guess you get the equally-hidden advantage of being able to discover someone else's otherwise-unknown-to-you stats.

Even then, you wouldn't know his PS is 70 if you mimicked him (in character); you would just know he's SCARY strong.

im facing this same problem. first time player has picked mimic as one of his powers.
never had to read up so much! lol.
so now i face the prospect of having a character jumping between an invisible pp 30 extraordinary speed natural combat.
or, a living aps:electric dynamo.

just have to remember that he doesnt mimic knowledge or skills, just raw power. so my ancient weapon master should be fine.

of course my 'mutant league' of rival npc underground, he could be anyone of them! he's in for a shock.
Darth: force manipulation, create force fields
lizard: animal abilities, venom attack, super regeneration.
lazer: aps light, solar powered, frequency absorbtion, invisibility, supernatural ps
void: (sister to lazer, twins) aps:void, solar powered, frequency absorbtion, control the void, superluminal flight
dreadlord: aps:bone matter expulsion bone
mary: an angel (so would probably be classed as a true supernatural being? therefore being immune to being mimicked?)
