clarification please :) Transferal/Possession+Multiple Selve

Would the combo allow a character to possess one target per copy??
Another concept character. Trying to keep it legit.
I would like input from the Yays and the Nays and a short explanation of why you rule as such.

As each multiple being would have the power of "Transferal / Possession", then yes, they would be able to possess individual targets.
However....
In my opinion, the original would NOT be able to recall the clones unless both the "mind" and "body" of the clone were within range.

I'd say "Yay," because -- well, why wouldn't it? I mean, the combo of Multiple Selves and Invulnerability means each copy is Invulnerable, right? And the combo of Multiple Selves and Invisibility means each copy can turn Invisible, likewise? So the combo of Multiple Selves and Transferal/Possession means exactly what you'd think, because of course it does.

I agree with NMI and Regularguy. As a clarification to NMI's restriction though, about recalling the clones, I would allow a clone who is possessing someone to be recalled only if both the empty clone body and the possessed person were both in range. In that case, the possession would instantly end as both the clone's body and "mind" are re-absorbed back into the main character.

Yes, each copy could possess people.

However, the original could not just make a copy mind to possess someone. The original has to make a copy fully, with body and mind.

For a character to be able to just make a copy of her mind to possess others would take an Act of GM or a writer's Artistic License.

I am not sure you could absorb the copy if it was possessed actually. You certainly couldn't absorb the possessor with out some sort of special power to absorb people.

(My ruling would be that you can only absorb copies if their mind is in their body myself)

Right, but the way I would look at it, you cant just absorb the mind or the body. You have to absorb both, at the same time. And for me that means the mind has to be in the body. If you used transferal and then someone grabs your body, you need to get that body back so you can have the mind in the body to be reabsorbed.
Just my way of looking at it.

Absorbing a multiple self that has been possessed by someone else, I think, would have very good chances of giving the multiple selves player multiple personalty, or 2 actual consciousnesses, OR allow the possessor to take over the self who just absorbed the possessed self.

I think it might be advantageous to have one of your copies possess your body while you go and possess someone else.

Although that would leave your copy's body vulnerable to possession, if that was ever a problem then I think you could just re-absorb the body.

Also wondering about this scenario:

Original A creates Copy B.
A orders B to consent to possession, and possesses B.

Although you lose your super powers when you go into a new body, B independently has the super power that A lost, so would A be able to use it to possess someone else?

Wondering same about other powers.

Wow! You kept all of the powers and such to what is in the main book! I am impressed :-)

The above idea is interesting.

I'll admit I'm not a fan of the Palladium ones, especially here in a Super Hero world.

I always liked the Nightbane Wampyr as "vampires" in a super hero world. Rifter 49 has some pretty cool options, too.

Since the interview, vampires in fiction appear to have a wide variety of abilities, some are stronger others can control minds etc.
I like this concept.

They are more akin to the WoD style of vampire. They aren't WoD, but they follow the idea of multiple "types" of vampires, each with their share of vampire weaknesses and strengths from legend. Also, as they age there are options for acquiring more powers, which also fits the theme of older vampires being very powerful and tough to take down.
