HUmmm a HU Book of Powers. It thinking along the lines of the RBoM where they would list all the powers from all the books, Breaking then down between earth and AU parts of the setting. With an updated random power tables.
And maybe some examples of 'super inventions'.

And maybe some pre-made objects/weapons of power from the magic power cat.

:demon: And the "Tables of Doom".

Maybe they can put some rifter powers into it. Maybe listing them as optional if the don't want them as 'approved canon'.

I voted "all of the above" but I would also want it to contain any powers from other printed supplements, and a few new ones just for fun. Not sure what 'Tables of DooM" are, but hey, why not!

yea, I have ll the books but having all of them in one would be cool as long as it included a few new ones and none of the Heroes of the megaverse powers. I have that book and while a few of the powers are cool (weapons master for example) I havnt actually used the book for any of my characters yet. I dont like the format....

No!!!!

I much like the name HU Book of Powers.

UPU is too close to "up yours........" or "you p u"

I see the nik if it was UPU as the ultimate stinky book.

I voted other for reasons I cannot state publicly.

Why not make it one book with the stuff in the PU books and stuff, and maybe an annual special edition Rifter with powers compiled from Palladium gamers, themselves?

I said yes to all of the above and before another Rifts book...

Consolidated into a new hard cover edition of HU, with new artwork and all of the Galaxy guide skills included, oh and also the Super Agency construction rules from Villains unlimited, and and and...

Well, you get the point!

Kick Start That!

Yes to a combined powers book. As long as it does not come out before other more delayed manuscripts are released first. Not to mention would like to see other powr categories get a similar treatment with power books.

Have to agree there, An update to the Robot, Cybernetic and vehicle construction rules would be good... Wait, I have all of those things, perhaps I should submit it and demand they redo the HU book!

They could add Rifts Psionics as well, and perhaps some fantasy magic and when said and done it will look something like this...

Id gladly pay $250 for 1000 page e reader (With ability to read and upload PDF of other Palladium content through editable Palladium PDF's) HU!

Ironically 3 different books with powers seem to work out better for me. When someone wants to look up some details of their power there is a good chance I don't have to hand them the main book.

You people honestly want to spend more money on cut-and-paste, rather than new content? If you care that much pull the powers sections out of the other books, punch some holes, and bind them on top of PU1 and PU3. Any time that gets spent on this would just be delaying a cohesive update of the Robotics/Bionics/Hardware sections....

The Rifts Game Master guide is just cut and paste.
The Rifts Book of Magic is just cut and paste.

It's haviing all the stuff in one section, cleaned up, and collected in one easy to access tome that is the appeal.

Convenance.

And some of us don't like some red necked, pages yanked out of other books, holes punched them and bound.

Some of us like nice, clean professionally done works.

I personallly would love the projected project. I personally own Heroes Unlimited. Heroes unlimted Revised and three copies of Heroes Unlimited 2nd edition. One I keep pristine, one I've read/used so much it's getting ratty and one for 'Use' and 2 of the three are signed. I've got 3 copies each of Powers unlimited 1, 2, and 3. Again. My first copies, that are well used. Newer copies for use and one to keep pristine. MOST of those are signed as well. (( not all.)). I've got a copy of Villians unlimited and Villians revised, and at least one copy of every other book in the HU line.

That's just me. Yes. I read the books. I take GOOD CARE of my books but... palladium books SHOW WEAR if you use them. So I've got ones that are so well red and used that I've gotten other ones to read and use and yes, some I've got to keep pristine.

So yes. I am someone that would love to get some of these collected in one place for ease and convenience. Get all the similar stuff grouped together.

Sides. It's not like they've got heroes projects just sitting around waiting to be done. lol

I'd love new content as well. But it need not be "Either or" I'd most love 'BOTH' but failing brand new content, gimme this project. I'd buy at least 2.

I'd like to point out that it's not just HU, PU1, PU2, and PU3 that need to be consolidated. What about powers in the Rifters that never made it into one of those 4 books? What about powers in Armageddon Unlimited? There are so many powers in so many places that just having them all in one big book would be awesome. Not to mention that it would give PB a chance to review the formatting of the powers and make some formatting changes...

I Voted 'All the above mentioned' and 'other'

For other I would say through in a few new powers as well as all the collected powers, but what I really want for 'other' is to have new conversions for all the powers in MDC worlds. Between the 2 versions of the Conversion Book One, and Skraypers, they current available conversions are inconsistent and incomplete.

as for the title, 'Heroes Unlimited: Ultimate Powers' seems like an excellent title to me, but I can also see 'Heroes Unlimited: Ultimate Book of Powers' and 'Heroes Unlimited: Ultimate Powers Unlimited' as working, however since all of these are so very obvious perhaps we should get more creative, like 'Heroes Unlimited: Infinite Powers' or 'Heroes Unlimited: Supreme Power' or 'Heroes Unlimited: Absolute Power'....

Apologies, I get carried away sometimes.....

But I would most definitely buy such a book.
