Moderators/Palladium staff,
It's been a while since we've recieved an update from the Kev-master himself or on the progress of the climb. I know it is very important to me and many other fans. So I was wondering how Palladium is doing... Can we maybe get an official update?

Congratulations, Kevin, you have acquired yourself another hard-core Rifter. I am well on my way to owning all of the books (almost half already). Glad to do my part to help.

Welcome!
Now go forth and rope others! :)

well to save a roleplaying company will take several steps, what you have to do is get your name on the minds of peaple who dont play the game and to do that you need name brand charicters. To do that you need to have authors write books from your different jonras, heros unlimited, ninjas and superspies, rifts... and in each book charicters will be born. Then with these charicters you can make action figures, shirts, posters. This will lead to movie scripts becouse with charicters to write about a movie is imaginable but with no charicters its hard to see a sellable movie.Mabey even start a comic book with dark hoarse
A mega movie would be cool, like you know how you can intertwine all the rules from all the game (fantasy, heros, rifts),i do this all the time.well you can have a movie where a fantasy charicter, rifts charicter, ninja are all transported to the superhero world and have to save the day this will alow peaple to see why you need all the books not just one or the other.Thats why ive bought everysingle palladium book ive found.my campains are hudge.
im also in the process of trying to get work in different companys as a game designers but need my journalism degree, any sudgestions on making this dream a reality?

It has been a while since I have checked up on Palladium's status due to real life issues of my own. My family and I are still in dire straights, but I wanted Palladium to know that we are still trying to support you as much as we can. We are having a hard time supporting ourselves, but we are not forgetting to do our part as we can either. Please keep moving forward and never give up. We will be purchasing more books ASAP, and continue turning new gamers onto you as well.

Sincerely,
The Ley_Line_Walker Family

Over the years the Megaverse has helped me through some dark and desperate times. I have literally played my way out of depression and other tragic circumstances. Way too many to list or bore anyone with lol. Even though right now I am unable to contribute to the efforts of so many to save the megaverse; I would like to share the words of, what I feel is a great man, Victor Frankl. He said "he who has a why to live for can bear almost any how." In my humble opinion the efforts of so many show that the gift of the Megaverse is one heck of a why! If I had the means to assist, I would, gladly. I shall for the time-being continue to enjoy the why I have found so many hours of release and fun in. Thank you for the hours and days of enjoyment i have found over the years.

Sincerely, a humble d-bee

Rocky Franklin

Hello cats and kittens over at Palladium and fellow gamers everywhere i hope the recovery effort was a success and that u are growing everyday regrettably my funds are at rock bottom and i can't afford much in the way of books anymore but i wanted to tell u to keep up the good fight. Me and my friends love rifts and i actively gm 3 or 4 different campaigns on 2 different timelines. Just remember your hard work is greatly appreciated and that we're gonna play till the day we die. Much love from all gamers here in Trenton

since the tech is there and i hear more news about newer tech coming online maybe it would be a huge choice to assemble a script to the video game lords and present a idea for palladium-books to venture into video game land. there are so many games that i see with the imagination like home world, fallout, mass effect, x-com UFO defense and more. the idea of making that huge leap for palladium-books should be there hell D&D is boomed since the 70's how come its so scarce to not see anything from palladium-books?

I personally would like to see a online chat room type virtual tabletop like Open RPG or something that is compatible with Palladium's Games AND is relatively easy to set up and use.

They already have a chatroom that has a dice roller, and you can post pictures. I am not familiar with virtual tabletop on open rpg but what makes it so special? What are some of the features?

I'm not too familiar with Open RPG, but Roll20 is an online game room type thing that has a visual game board so the GM can show a big map that the players can explore. Only the parts of the map that players have seen is exposed, so they won't know what's around the corner. It works better for games that need maps and mini's, so I doubt it would be that good for Rifts.

This is a lot like me as well.

I played "Beyond the Supernatural" years ago but never really followed the Palladium product lines much. Recently I met some guy at my local game shoppe who is a huge Rifts fan and he's talking it up big time, so I'm primed to give it a shot.

Hope the company is rebounding!
