After-Hours Gaming

Unread post by Glistam »

Since there's no 24 hour room this year, does anyone have any thought or plans on non-Open House gaming after 10pm?

Do you know what the hours will be? I'm coming from Pacific Standard Time, so I suspect I'll be staying up late!

Wonder if anyone has considered getting an Airbnb nearby so the gang can just hang there?

My wife and I are staying at La Quinta, only because we have a bunch of rewards points we're cashing in to make the stay there almost free... plus it's actually closer than either of the other two locations (didn't plan that, but it's a bonus!). There probably aren't many others who are staying there for the open house.

I was thinking there too. Then again anyone know if any hotels in the area actually have suites like rooms off of a private common area... You know like suites used to be until they somehow started to mean room?

No I mean how hotels used to have presidential suites and smaller suites that had two rooms that were off of a livi g room. Those were what suites were. Like in movies from the 80s where someone would brag about having a private suite. Now if someone said that it wouldn't be a big deal because hotels call all of their rooms suites.

Imagine it will take more planning for games at Red Roof, rooms are external access. Between that and the cold weather, can't replicate the hall wandering pickup games of the past.
Still willing to offer the space in my room and I'll still be kicking about fairly late.

145 at Red Roof is open to post-Open House refugees to visit or arrange games. I'm not rolling out 'til tomorrow.

EDIT: Closing up for the night, good seeing everyone that dropped by!

Had fun going on a White Castle run with ya though. We don’t have those in CA.

Are you telling me you were right by the LaQuinta and didn't drop by to say hi to me or Jack?
