In running "Kingdoms and Ledgends of the Frontier" campaign for the kids in 1E we came upon an issue I have not encountered yet.
The Water Warlock spell Create Fog (lev 1) and Fog of Fear (lev 2) state range as radius/level of Warlock. But from what range can they be cast? Does the fog only aphear around the Warlock or can he cast these spells from afar? If so what is the range? Have these and other "mist" spells like these been modified to include cast range in later editions or are they strictly Range: around the Warlock" style spells?
