Zombie cave spider...

Unread post by pblackcrow »

I know what you are thinking...why would you want a giant cave spider as a zombie? The answer is simple. To make silk equal to that of the spider-goats.of AtB.

Thoughts, observations, remarks?

I doubt a zombie spider could make silk, just like a zombie dragon wouldn't have a breath weapon.

We will see if the gm will allow it to happen in the next game.

Anything is worth a go...rather or not it succeeds is a quite minuscule detail, mate.

If it happens, yay. If it doesn't happen, oh well, back to the drawing board.

well, if you could get zombie spiders to make silk thread you could make a lot of money, as they wouldn't need to rest, and you could basically manufacture silk for a fraction of the price of your competitors (the buyers might not like the idea of zombie silk but they don't need to know) so you could be rich in a relatively short timeframe.

True, however not exactly why I'm doing it. I am doing it to out fit my faerie spies with armor, and give my men and myself an option to the hot and smoldering armors. We live on an islands...were the temp doesn't go below 50 on the coldest nights.

I would just turn a normal-size spider into a zombie, then you can have an eternal Charlotte friend who can read and write and speak. They don't live that long normally anyway, it's an all-around improvement for them. Also no moral problems with killing them before a full moon since you're not extinguishing a sentient life.

That will not work. Zombie spiders can not spin webs. So saith the main GM. But summoners can summon and control them. Rather relatively easily. Too bad they don't have blinders in PFRPG. Hand cranked or otherwise. It would make their jobs much easier!!! LOL Hummm...That's a thought.
