This is probably totally answered somewhere and I just cant find it, but how much light do various light sources give off? We play online and use Roll20 so I actually need to know light radius in feet :/

I take it you mean how much the light sources light things up for the holder, cause depending on the LoS lights can be seen from miles away.

Candles each have one candle's worth of illumination or about 13 lumens.

In a 40 watt incandescent light bulb gives off about 450 lumens.

sorry that is all my google-fu did turn up.

But you can do your own experiment, lighting a candle and turning off the electric lights to see how much things are lit up.

The same can be done with a wick based lamp.

Adding a reflector will greatly intensify the light on one side of the lamp or candle.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.

Sometimes you just have to go out and play with fire.

You'd probably be fine using D&D's numbers.

Because Light follows the inverse square law, for every doubling in distance the power is reduced to a factor of 1/4. (so if it was 1power at 1 meter, at 2meters it would be .25power).
