Does anyone know of any references to these items?

He is talking about a town in Timiro. "Gedro" is the name of the town. Reference is Old Ones book page 94.

I guess it depends whether or not they stay in the Bizantium manuscript. Oakwater is the name of a Dwarf City located on
Lake Kosin on the Island of Bizantium. There is something "special" about the dwarves of Oak Water, but you'll just have to
wait to see if they are still in the book. The Great Oak is a tree. Well not just any kind of tree either . Again we shall see if
the stay in the manuscript.

Is this based on any preexisting material?

Re: Great Oak or Oakwater
With the dwarves no. The Great Oak is somewhat similar but mostly comes other Palladium material. The previews didn't
mention anything about them so well shall see if they remain.
