Looking for a dog boy story

I apologize in advance, but I have looked everywhere and can't find it. I remember reading a story, I believe in one of the Rifters, with dog boys that rode to a place that I believe was a gas station and got barbeque sandwiches, and there was a body that had been dug up and some black marketeers, and the dog boy shot the risen body with silver bullets - does this ring a bell for anyone? Any idea where I might find it?
