Scenario: Last Stand at Fort Wayne.

Back-story.
B Co, 1st Battalion, 77th Brigade. 45% of the unit was able to report in.
67 Peacekeepers along with their four APC’s with full crews started the first battle and rescue work in the Detroit area. Two peacekeepers were lost when they found out their regular automatic rifles where insufficient for dealing with the daemons coming through the rifts. Five more peacekeepers where lost when the company was split into two units buy daemons falling from a blue line (ley line). 1St Lieutenant Chance with 50 Peacekeepers and two of the APC’s filled with rescued civilians retreat to Fort Wane to try and make a stand until help can arrive. The remaining two APC’s and the remaining 10 Peacekeepers under Sergeant Kragersin retreat towards the university of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Situation.
The largest surviving part of B Co, 1st Battalion, 77th Brigade has taken cover in Historical Fort Wayne to wait for help to arrive. What they know is that the 26th Brigade is coming down I-75 and should be arriving in around two hours. That the other surviving element of B Co is retreating towards the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where another NEMA unit should be forming up.

Friendly Forces: 50 Peacekeepers, 2 APC’s, 10 NEMA militia Volunteers from the rescued civilians, and 90 Civilians. The civilians are currently in the 2 APC’s.

Historical Fort Wayne: The mystical energies are giving the old fort’s walls the equivalent of 300 MDC each.

Enemy Forces: 200 minor demons 36 MDC each, 100 Broodkill, and 1 major demon. Initially. They continue to get reinforcements from the Rifts.

Lapeer Blue Line Nexus Point Containment

Charlie Company 1st Battalion 77th NEMA Brigade -50% strength, 80 NEMA Peacekeepers, and 4 APC’s with the additional attachment of 32 NEMA Field Engineers from the 77th Engineering Company also collocated in Flint.

The senior commanders at the time are the Captain of C Co commanding 1st platoon, 2nd Lieutenant commanding 2rd Platoon, and the Platoon Sergeant of 2nd Platoon commanding 3rd Platoon and the First Sergeant of the Engineering Company commanding 4th Platoon. Each Platoon consists of 20 NEMA Peacekeepers and 8 NEMA Field Engineers in a NEMA MX-422 Armored Personnel Carrier.

The Captain of Charlie Company has decided that their best course of action is the containment of the convergence of the Blue Lines in Lapeer where the monsters are coming from. The Engineers have helped build four bunkers surrounding the point of convergence of the blue lines in Lapeer. Each APC is missing five of their laser Rifles that are normally stored in them as they have been give to local police forces to deal with any Monsters that have escaped before the containment of the Blue line nexus point or manage to break through the containment. Each of the bunkers has the two extra heavy weapons carried by their APC mounted in them. The Bunkers also give the APC’s a hull down position from which to fire their Turret mounted weapons. Each APC is also backed into their firing positions to make a quick escape possible if it looks as if their position is about to be over run.

How long can NEMA contain the Lapeer nexus point?

The new moon is at 9:26 am and will cause a major flare in nexus point activity.

Enter the Para Arcane or Rescue at Palladium Books

11:00 December 22nd 2098 the remnants of Charlie Company 1st Battalion 77th NEAM Brigade have retreated to Troy Michigan after the Nexus point in Lapeer as one trooper adequately phrased it, “The blue line convergence super sized on us and swallowed fourth platoon whole.” With three operational APC’s and a number of his troops wounded from their attempt at the containment of the Lapeer Nexus Point the Captain was going to seek medical help for his wounded men before trying to return to Flint to resupply. Retreating from Lapeer to Troy had one unfortunate or fortunate effect in that the Company needed to cross the Lapeer - Pontiac Blue Line to reach Troy. It was during the time that they were crossing the blue line that a Blue Zone disturbance overtook them and when exiting the Blue Zone they find that over 30 minutes have passed. Also of note is that when the GPS systems again become active they find themselves leaving a Blue Line running from the Blue Line Nexus point in Detroit’s Rogue Park to the Blue Line nexus point in Monroe. In Taylor they found a godsend in the form of information on the monsters and daemons that they had been fighting and the rather curious set of circumstances that they now found themselves in. While traversing some debris one of the APC’s was knocked over on its side by a charging Furry Beetle. The position of the APC made it impossible to right using one of the other APC’s and the Captain has called in support from the 26th Brigade to recover the APC. Looking for a defensible position the unit came upon the Nearby Palladium Books worldwide leader in Role Playing games after their 2039 buyout of Ha**** Inc.

Current Strength 40 Peacekeepers and 16 Field Engineers with two working but damaged APC’s along with an additional 20 wounded, 14 peacekeepers and 6 Field Engineers. Added to this Force are the Staff of Palladium books now using their offices and warehouse as a strong hold in the chaos taking place?

An Armored Sentinels squad consisting of Two Mastiff’s and 8 Gunbuster power armors with a squad of 10 Chromium Guardsman is dispatched from SFAB by General West to help recover the APC aboard an AFC-050 Transport.

After the Intelligence find is reported in one of the AFC-O50 Transports that are being readied to start evacuating civilians from SFAB is appropriated to drop a Military Intelligence Squad and additional to supplies to the troops at Palladium Books. The AFC-O50 is being escorted by a squad of 10 Silver Eagles after reports from the recovery team mention attacks by flying demons.

Note: The Blue Zone / Line disturbance was similar to the spell Rift Teleportation.

Being a local you probobly already know this, But PB is right close to Detroit Intl Airport. Might be good to work in a NEMA controlled air field for flying PA and larger aircraft.
Be at peace, my people. All shall be looked up.

Thats why I have NEMA operating out of the Selfridge Airforce Base. Well technicly the Selfridge ANG Base wich is East and just a tad south of Troy Michigan and North of Detroit. North East of Taylor

Another reson why Detroit Intl Airport wasn't used in the Games that these senerios are comeing from is that it became a falmeing wreck shortly after the comeing of the rifts when a passanger airliner crashed while trying to land there. Due to the Blue Line activity. Though it did come into play latter as they where trying to recover the Intelligence from Palladium books and get out those people they had rescued from the area.

That is some interesting places! How did you come by them? I am just curious.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

"As you will it, your Grace."

Aw come on you should at least give him normal stats for his pyhsicals. Although over all it is very good! I think he should also have a higher IQ, ME, and MA. Since he has so many fans. (Myself included!)

I am currently looking at redoing the organization of NEMA Brigades to reflect what they might have looked like based on how NEMA had their divisions which would be more equivalent to how the Armed forces have their branches set up.

NEMA Brigade Organization

S2 - Intelligence and security
S3 - Operations, plans, and training
S4 - Logistics
S5 - Communications
S6 - Civil affairs

2nd Battalion (Peacekeeper Battalion)
Battalion HHC
A Company (peacekeeper)
B Company (peacekeeper)
C Company (peacekeeper)
D company (Fire & Rescue)

3rd Battalion (Peacekeeper Battalion)
Battalion HHC
A Company (Peacekeeper)
B Company (Peacekeeper)
C Company (Peacekeeper)
D company (Fire & Rescue)

4th Battalion (Peacekeeper Battalion)
Battalion HHC
A Company (Peacekeeper)
B Company (Peacekeeper)
C Company (Peacekeeper)
D company (Fire & Rescue)

5th Battalion (Power Armor Battalion)
Battalion HHC
A Company (Chromium Guardsman)
B Company (Chromium Guardsman)

cawest - I went with NEMA being more built around the concept of the Modern Combat Brigade or the old separate Brigade rather than on a Division level basis Like in the FM you are using. With a Divisional layout like in the FM you listed all of your maintenance, Engineering, Transportation & Supply, and the Artillery are all attached directly under the Divisions command. With this layout you would have the Division spread out over several states.

December 22nd 2098 13:00:00 - My name is Corporal Jonathan Sinclair and I am a member of 1st Squad, 1st Platoon, Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 26th NEMA Brigade. Now the 26th NEMA Brigade is commanded by Brigadier General Nathanael West. General West reports to Major General William Slocomb. General Slocomb has the 26th NEMA Brigade, and the 77th NEMA Brigade under his command plus other units. Now the 26th Brigade is made up of 7 Battalions. 1 Engineering and Intelligence Battalion, 3 Peacekeeper Battalions, 1 Chromium Guardsman Battalion, 1 Armored Sentinel Battalion, and 1 Support Battalion. Now 3rd Battalion is a Peacekeeper Battalion Commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Berry Sanders. It is composed of Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, and the Headquarters and Headquarters Company. Charlie company's Commanding officer is Captain James Edwards. Charlie company is made up of 4 platoons. 1st Platoon is commanded by Lieutenant Erikson and is made up of 5 Squads. 1st through 4th squad is infantry squads, and the 5th Squad is made up of our MX-422 APC and her crew of six. 1st squad is made up of 10 men. There is Sergeant Alvaraze the commander. Fire Team-1 Corporal Donnal, PFC Jackson, PFC Floyd, and PVT Gilbert. Fire Team-2 Corporal Windham, PFC Johanson, PFC Merkel, and PVT Hanson. Then there is myself Corporal Sinclair the Squads Point man.
December 22nd 2098 00:50:00 - Nothing like being awoken out of a sound sleep after only two hours of sleep by the bases Alarm claxons going off. Scuttlebutt has it the two troublemakers to the south that has us doing exercises instead of going home on leave just nuked each other. Going to try and catch some sleep on our trip down to Selfridge Airbase.
December 22nd 2098 01:46:00 - huh??? is going on here. Giant Beetles that 5.56mm Assault rifle rounds just bounce off them like BB's off a steel plate? I would have thought that whoever was making the report was smoking some wacky tobacco if I myself had not seen the two blue lines 4.8 klicks up in the sky with two of them forming a nexus where they met just outside of Standish.
December 22nd 2098 03:30:00 - We are about twenty minutes out from the Airbase. The LT reached me on the comms to tell me I was being detached from the platoon along with Johansson when we reached the airbase. Wonder what that is going to be about.
December 22nd 04:15:00 - Someone must have combed through the personnel files for the 26th looking for those of us in Task Force 1 that where jump qualified. Two M-spec, two Intel Agents, and eight Peacekeepers. We are the replacements for the two teams that are down in South America from Fox Company 75th NEMA Recon. Team 1-1 along with the Commander of 1st Platoon where killed outright in the Nuclear blast. Team 1-2 is currently listed as MIA since they missed there last radio check-in. We are being dropped in by an AFC-151. Think of it as a flying APC or transport aircraft. While time to cut this off since we are beginning to load up.
