In my CE, most people were very attached to full tactile, sensory input virtual reality prior to the apocalypse, so toys would most likely exist in virtual settings and often these are portable systems. Google the cover of Iron Maiden's Virtual XI album for an idea.

And kids don't need toys in CE...they have Chaos Magic instead...

Sticks, bones, broken shiny things. Then the kid who is playing with them doesn't notice the thing and dies.

With the amount of nukes that popped off no electronic toy is going to have survived the EMP, no non hardened and powered electronic device should have for that matter.

But if there are some that did I would be using remote control cars, planes and what have you as surveillance or weapon platform systems.
The Libyan rebels made remote controlled weapons using remote cars.

Take a gander at this .

Early techno -wizards may have started by messing with junked toys or vehicles and "accidently" empowering them with magic, then after time & trial more "modern" TW abilities are born.

There would be at least a few that remained old school, like little green army men (now with new NEMA power armors!).

magical nerf weapons could be fun. they look like innocent toys, but if your not into the turning of innocent kid toys into mega damage weapons. you could just use them as training weapons.

This might make a good anti-vamp weapon if made magical, as well as other Supernaturals.
