I would like to start a thread where people can post that they are looking for players for online games that are outside the awesome Explorers Unlimited banner. If this gets enough activity it will get stickied.
One rule- when you are full, you must come back here and state you are full.
Ready... Set.... Go!

Sorry - I play on ExplorersUnlimited. They have a dynamic group of GM's, and a fabulous group of collaborative players.

It's free, no advertisements, and a fairly active administrative staff. They do have a strict post rate, but that's to keep the games flowing, and keep them from PbP death that so many sites tend to have.

But you are looking for other communities - I feel the ones that are active are niche, or have issues surviving (see the post rate) I hope there are more communities out there, Palladium needs all the help it can get through grass root movement.

I would point to PalladiumKnights - but it appears that their sticky has been removed, and their website is no longer active.

What about a West Marches style Dead Reign game on Roll20 (www.roll20.net)

Yes - On-line using Discord and chat or roll20 would be good. Let me know when.

I would play there. I have played there. Problem is one GM left a suuuper bad taste in my mouth.

You know there are like a dozen different GMs, right?

And if this was years ago...well, things have changed A LOT. It's worth taking another look of nothing else.

Happy gaming!

From my understanding, it started at the top.

That would be me if that's the case.
In either event, this is still applicable:

:)

How can I answer a question which isn't even a complete sentence? And you brought up the time factor, so odds are only you have the answer to your question. In either case, nevermind. If this exchange is any indication, you'd have a repeat experience, and no one wants that. Game on!

I've tried playing on EU twice in PF both times the games died due to loosing our GMs. I wouldn't consider the immune to PBP death that you claim.

Yeah, this does happen. I've seen it happen to Palladium fantasy games the most frequently of all the game settings. Presently, the GMs we have for PFRPG have been at it for two years I think, and they have a good track record, but there's no guarantee that such will always be the case.

There are no guarantees in life or gaming, mate.

We all take our chances, and do the best we can with the members of the communities we build.

I would like to build upon this:

Currently at ExplorersUnlimited.com (EU) there are two Fantasy groups playing a shared world. That means that there are two GM's running two distinct adventures. We have at least 3 players who have been in this fantasy group since 2015 (April to June is when they made their characters). They are still going strong, with a few hiccups, as life does happen.

Now if your talking about a Fantasy game that happened before 2015 on EU, that's a different story. With the current GM's, they are seasoned and have been with us long term. Hiccup's happen, but usually with our check's and balances in GMing, we have some breathing room.

But what Augur said is true: We do our best, with the members of the communities we have built.

Roll20 is probably your best bet. I know Augur runs weekend games using Roll20 and Discord I believe

Dead Reign, HU2, and Fantasy at present. But savage rifts might replace the HU2 game soon.
