Multiple H2H question

Unread post by Mouser13 »

Hey I have a player that believes that if you have multiple H2H you can switch between them and get the addtionally attacks of all. So if you have two or thrid H2H you end up with 15+ attacks around. I believe that you used up some many actions in a round they should be removed from the H2H. Ie your highest has 7 attacks, but you are in a 5 attack you complete out and switch to the other for 2 more attacks not 7 more? What is the Cannon rules for this?

You can't switch between multiple MA like that, you pick which one you're going to use for that melee and are restricted to its bonuses and penalties for that melee, you can't treat it like switching guns to get more attacks because you 'used up' your attacks in the first one. So no he's quite wrong, he only gets to use a particular MA each melee and can only switch (if desired) at the start of the next melee.
Fair warning: I consider being called a munchkin a highly offensive slur and do report people when they err in doing so.

It's 'canon', not 'cannon'. A cannon is a big gun like on pirate ships, canon is what you mean when referring to something as being contained within one of the books such as how many dice to roll for a stat.

If the char is a Dedicated Martial Artist the multiple Martial Art Forms (not H2H's), then they can change forms at the beginning/end of the melee round.

The Multiple Martial Art Form's bonuses Do Not Stack (do not add together). N&S page 83 #1 top left
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.

Well, attribute/SDC/chi bonuses do :) Just not strike/parry/dodge/roll/various other D20 type stuff.
