Questions about Mutants in Orbit

I'm working on generating some characters for Mutants in Orbit, so this is a threads for general questions I may come across. Feel free to answer with either official answers, or your opinion, if that's all you have.

p6 There is an "insect" result

p7-9. The Orbital Profession Table lists several Rifts OCCs as options for the different professions, but sadly this list was written so long ago dozens of Rifts OCCs have been invented since then. What modern OCCs would you recommend for them now? For instance the Astrologer was just a Vagabond psychic, but things like a the Gypsy OCCs might work for it.

p13-14. If a Rifts character rolls that he is a Master Psychic, but pick just from the list of power, not to be a Burster or Mind Melter (or similar Psychic RCC), can he still pick a common OCC?

p14. At the end of the Psionic Powers Table (Humans) it says psionic Dreggies have "three additional lesser psionic abilities or one additional minor super ability and +1 to M.E." Does this mean they only get the +1 M.E. if they take the one super ability, or do they get that no matter if they take the 3 lesser abilities? Do super powered Dreggies get any bonuses like that?

p61. There seems to be no racial and power breakdown for Independents, what percent are animals, aliens etc? What percentage have psionics, super abilities, etc.?
