I think it's a great, stand-alone game but it's missing some important elements that you as a G.M. will have to fill in from other Palladium sources. The classes are fun and unique and the psychic "threat level" system was a pretty interesting way to empower psychics against the supernatural while still keeping their power level low in a modern world setting.

But, there's no magic or monsters. The lack of magic isn't a huge problem itself (unless you wanted to play an Arcanist/Mage), but the lack of monsters is an issue since that's one of the major points of the game! You'd have to bring in monsters from the first edition or from Palladium's other books, and use the guidelines in BTS2 for what their "threat levels" should be when facing off against psychics.

I give your site 5 stars, BTW! I kicked a few bucks your way to help with upkeep. I hope others do, too. It would be a shame to see it go extinct.

Yeah, but they've been promising that since 2005 so don't hold your breath. Stick with BtS 1st edition as it has everything in one book so you'd be better off.
