The Guides to the Megaverse(tm) podcast group

Unread post by zerombr »

hello there, I just wanted to give a light message here that I've got an actual play Palladium podcast group. We're sitting over at http://www.collectiveidiocy.com/ as the Guides to the Megaverse(tm) (Kev asked us to put on the tm).

We play a lot of different games, usually different every week, so we have a ton of different styles of games, and we have about two years of content now. I won't spam the boards with ads or anything (but I did get permission to post on the palladium FB page, which you may or may not have seen)

If you choose to listen, I hope you enjoy our games. Thank you!

I want to have our logo set up before then, I think its practically a prerequisite, but that happens in two weeks or so, so we'll be on Itunes shortly. We also felt we needed to have a good deal of backlog content to work with before we hit Itunes, but we're ready for that leap now!

Makes sense.

We're now on Itunes folks! Yes, its true, we're now at guidesmegaverse.podbean.com and that means we have an RSS feed on iTunes!

https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the ... 1352794655

We currently have 70+ episodes up from our backlog (barring some minor technical difficulties). Our games feature Robotech, Fantasy, Heroes Unlimited, and occasionally one-offs, but mostly with a lot of theme and specific concepts such as Kid Heros (the Silver City Survivors), low power vigilantes (Cascade), and Japan's only superhero team (Esper Force!)

We hope you'll give us a listen so we can spread the fun and excitement we've had for these last twenty years of gaming!

I'm only able to download 20 episodes on iTunes? Is that right?

weird, I'll look into that, you can always find us at the first link mentioned though, https://guidesmegaverse.podbean.com/

Might be due to us just being put on there! Thanks for giving us a chance.

btw I found out that you need to Subscribe to see more than the last few, IDK. I don't want to heavy handed ask people to subscribe, do so if you wish, just know you can hunt for more on our site without having to succumb to iTunes

I don't like itunes as the only download point.
Do you have a time table of what you are hosting or posting?

I think it is better to follow a time table then all the stuff I may not like to hear.

Honestly I find most radio type shows annoying if they don't have a majority of the content I like to listen too. That is likely why we have so many radio stations but the top 40 stations get the most traction. Since I have yet to give you show a try so you have an open concept where out side folks can contribute content?

I know what you mean! There's so many podcasts that I just can't stomach, because the content isn't just right, or I feel that the author doesn't have credibility to me (at least RPG wise). We're interested in what commenters might want, and we think it'd be interesting to have a more interactive game involving our listeners. As to what, well we haven't gotten any responses yet, so who is to say?

The Guides will be posting Open House games over the next few weeks, as well as panels. Some uploads will be snippets of events others will be entire games. Already uploaded is the Hardware Unlimited game we got to be a part of with the Palladium Forum's own Jack Burton!

Great time with you guys in Lopan. Who would have thought you started a Northern Pantheon religious movement in the city of Kavanas?
