Has Palladium Books ever participated in this event?
You'll take my life but I'll take yours too
You'll fire your musket but I'll run you through
So when you're waiting for the next attack
You'd better stand there's no turning back

According to RPGGeek, they haven't. What would you suggest they provide? I don't think I've seen a quickstart for any of their game lines. Many of the Free RPG Day selections I've picked up over the years have included barebones rules, pregens, and a starter adventure.

that would be the main bottleneck i think.

though i wouldn't mind seeing a 'starter packet' book, with their basic rules, some Pre-gen characters (or quick roll character templates), and an adventure.
not sure which line would work best for that though. Palladium fantasy would be the easiest to assemble, but would have feirce compitition from Pathfinder, D&D, and the rest of that market. Robotech has liscencing issues. Splicers, Rifts, and Chaos Earth are rather complex to fit into a smaller-than-a-rifter book. ATB loses most of its charm if you can't make your own characters, HU would be up against quite a few superhero games, nightbane would be up against WhiteWolf's stuff, Systems Failure is outdated and unsupported...

Scoping out the Rifts Primer on DriveThruRPG, it looks like it could be cannibalized into a quickstart fairly easily. Axe some of the GM tips and adventure creation, and it would be a pretty lean introduction to RIFTS. Pregens? Check. Adventure? Check. Rules summary? Check. I think it could work!
