Mutant Priest Question

Unread post by Reagren Wright »

Here's a question. Say in Rifts a mutant with the power to Alter Physical Structure-Water decided to become a priest,
would his water body and water projection be holy? And if not, could he get himself blessed and become a pool of holy
water?

Which priest class are you using? The one from CB2 doesn't make holy water.

….ahhh…hummm… no not unless he was a true believer, backing up his faith with his actions.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.
Each question should be give the canon answer 1st, then you can proclaim your house rules.

Priests from PFRPG can IIRC.

i'd say that if the class has an ability to create holywater, he could convert the water that makes up his altered form. but he would have to do the ritual/expend the PPE/whatever it takes to make the holywater, it wouldn't be automatic. also, IIRC, most of the holywater generating abilities have an upper limit on how much can be converted. so unless he was very high level he might not be able to convert his whole body anyway. (and mixing holywater into regular water would negate the effect.)

Drew, you have got to stop presenting your house rules/own preferences as if they are official. or at least start with a preface saying "well i don't know the official answer, but in my opinion"

I did present the canon answer, NO!
And I am human, and sometimes make mistakes. I don't remember making that post but it might of been when I was tired.
And since this is 3 months after I 1st posted here, maybe you should of said something when I made that 1st post, telling me in a privet message that I made one of my FEW canon/house-rule mistakes like this.

So to modify the post you were complaining about….

No.

Not unless he was a true believer, backing up his faith with his actions, would be the way I might allow it.

This makes me think... can a Rabbi create holy water?
