Savage World Rifts and Conversions

Unread post by Sureshot »

I was wondering with Pinnacle releasing SW Rifts in the near future. Is their going to be a change to PB conversion policy? I'm assuming that on the SW website their will be conversions allowed. Will we see the same with PB?

Palladium can't be given a free pass for criticism because people have a lot of emotion invested in it.

Pathfinder is good. It is not the second coming of D&D.

That's a good question.

Sean probably knows if he's willing to disclose it. You might PM him and ask. I think he started a handle on here (I thought so anyway).

At this point with a deal signed that both parties have at the very least a idea of conversions will be allowed or not.

I'd try the savage world forums.

Thx and done. Still they should be trying to do it on their own end as well.

Sounds like a 2016 release which seems about right if I had to guess they would probably want to debut it at gencon if they can. I am looking forward to it nice to have some options if it has good conversion rules god knows there is enough rifts source materials to choke an ox and I own pretty much all of it so if people want a different rule system to play it with nice to have that choice.

That actually was a pretty sweet interview. The Juicer and "Blaze of Glory" sound fantastic!

I do like the juicer stuff. A lot of people just don't get the impact of you are going to live 5 years or less in most campaigns simply because they don't tend to span multiple years. It is a good way of giving some immediacy to the live fast and die in a blaze of glory juicer lifestyle.

they have a Sci-fi companion (rules for all sorts of common sci-fi tropes) and Last Parsec is a setting that seems to be very popular.
