It came in a little early, and it includes "official" source material. Get the details:

Note that it will ship to our distributors on Monday.

I'm a subscriber, and I can hardly wait to get my hands on this issue. I'll be keeping a sharp eye out on the mail until it arrives.

Three Galaxies... Minion War... Want to check out the new spells and Splicers stuff too. It all sounds good really.

mines already on the way.. made sure to pre-order a copy. of course, so did half my family so our mailbox will probably be overflowing halfway through next week, since there'll probably be 4 copies in there.. (my family doesn't play the game.. but they're really proud of my article. :) ) and i don't know how many copies might be going out to more distant relatives..

i've also got a request from the FLGS back in the town where i did my first few years of college.. they want a signed copy for display.. the owner is a friend, otherwise i doubt the request would have been made. (and he usually doesn't carry RPG stuff)

Hello...

That was quick! I got mine on Saturday, and I was happy to come home to the package in the mail. Personally, I only have one issue of The Rifter remaining on my subscription (Since I started with the earlier issue during the Super-Subscription Offer...), so I think there will be a lot of time between this issue, the next, and the plausible Super-Subscription Offer for next year. But still, I'm definitely looking forward to all of it. Anyway, please take care; thanks a bunch, and have a good day.

It was only off-topic if you consider this thread to be Rifter specific, and not "All Things Palladium Books". In which case there's an appropriate sub-forum for this thread to be moved to. Or is that standard only applied to RRT discussions?

EDIT: Yes I do consider this thread to be specific to Rifter 70. There are other threads and three entire sub-forums dedicated to RRT, please use them if you want to discuss RRT.

dead post walking..

this is an announcement thread.. this is the proper forum for it. "All the things palladium books" is the place where the company posts it's announcements, at least the one's where they don't mind responses to the announcement.

but the responses need to be on topic.

I think some rifter articles should include rrt stuff, like maybe modeling and scenario articles. I get that hg won't allow pb to post RT RPG articles, but does that also translate to the miniature, I mean model game with RPG elements?

The rifter might get more submissions and readership if they could publish rrt related articles. It would be superduper, fantastically awesome if someone wrote an article on converting rrt stats into RPG stats. That way designs like the ya-4 can be played by the fans of the RPG.

They probably don't have the rights to do so. This was very open when they regained the RT license for the RPG.

I've 0% want for this. I'm a role player, not a miniature gamer. I get a little punchy when there's 30 pages of the thing spent on adds to start with.

Agree but it is a tie with the Kevin Long cover from Rifter 21: SAMAS on patrol.
