Alright! Its shipping! We did it! After 28 years a Robotech miniatures game is born! Congratulations to everyone who believed in this project and have continued to support it despite doubts and delays your continued support is now showing fruit. Now sit back and relax as your pieces come to you. Start thinking about how your going to paint your stuff or save up for that extra hobby glue!

Anyone know if there will be paint scheme rules like in WH40K? If not, I'm seeing a Hello Kitty Zentradi army!

At the back of the rule book is a paint guide and it is very detailed.

Now, I just need to really get on the ball and get the glue and stuff to help put it together.

No! this can not happen! The kitty was surely destroyed during the Zentradi's scourging of earth. Surely no Zentradi women stumbled across the remains of a half blasted pink and white cat. It couldn't have happened.

If anyone sees a hello kitty army we must band togather to purge it from the planet! Who's with me?

Usually its a minimum of 3 colours fully painted and based.

Or at least that used to be the GW tournament standard, been out the loop for a few years it may of changed.

there will be sample paint schemes in the rulebook, but you can paint them whatever you want. not everyone you play may agree with your choices, but there won't be any sort of paintscheme police to make you paint it a certain way.

I am going to stick too fairly basic schemes. Zeds will be as seen in the show. RDF too (no I will not call them by the supposed new name). The only variation may be that I paint the grunt VF-1s the standard brown with white trim and the non character officers units like Ben Dixon's in white with brown trim...

Just wanted to say Congratulations to Palladiumbooks, Harmony Gold, Ninja Division and a special Thanks to All of the Kickstarter Backers that have made this infectious nostalgic animation a wonderful gaming and Collectors reality! Sure there were a fair share of undesirable obstacles along the way on this journey, :P, however, the caliber of quality I hope will make you and your squadrons proud reflections of Robotech, both in the Gaming Community and among avid Collection arenas.

CHEERS & CONGRATULATIONS!! !!

It won't be some women doing this... it will be some Zentraedi Guys who have stumbled upon the Kitty prior to the Rain of Death. What will be worse, is the Zentraedi Armies of Bronies.

Congrats Palladium - missed out on the Kickstarter due to financial constraints, but keen to see how much these go for retail in the UK (I understand PB's Robotech license went global recently/last year? Used to be US only)

Yes! Great idea! Love the Ace Combat Series...Was thinking of the Mobius One motif as well. But one of my units will have to be the 44th Fighter squadron (Blue Squadron, or otherwise known as the Vampires) of the 18th Tactical Fighter Wing from Kadena AFB in Okinawa Japan with the ZZ Tail letters. That was my unit when I was in the USAF.

If its anything like their shipping of books I tend to get stuff pretty fast from palladium due to where I live. Most people should see theirs in the next few days of they are in the initial wave of shipping.

If you have the KS app, you can find your backer number there. It doesn't seem to mean much though.

If you go to the Backerkit site, if you log in and can see your address and pledge details and whatnot, hit 'next', and that will show you your Backerkit number. That seems to roughly tie into the shipping order, with some massive caveats. From what I've read, the main order of delivery seems to be based on:

1) Region. They seem to be starting with North America (possibly just the US, haven't heard of any Canadian or Mexican backers getting their boxes yet, but that could just be a shipping time thing)

2) Order size. According to Mike, the man with an inside line, as of yesterday they're still working on (or have finished?) the first 200'ish core box only orders. I've yet to hear of any Battle Cry or higher backers getting a shipping notice yet.

3) Backer Kit #.

Given that there's roughly 3k Battle Cry boxes to go out, anyone with a Showdown or more coming to them might be waiting for container 3 or 4, depending on how many pallets will be bundled up to fire over to the EU distribution hub.

If that is the case, then I guess I'll be waiting a while, also. Oh well, at least it will come eventually, and it gives me more time to get the stuff to put it together.

cool.

i'm working on a list of neat color schemes to use. Razgriz squadrom, the "Lionheart" squadron i submitted to the contest, "Rot" team from ace combat zero, Indigo Squadron, etc. might also steal a few unit colors from battletech.
