Not even too close to being too old. I will be 44 this year, I host a regular game of Rifts, run dozens of events at conventions every year (Origins less than 3 months away, woo hoo!) and do a few demo games at my FLGS. You are only as old as you feel, so tell those darn kids to get off you lawn and come sling some dice!

Welcome!

You are not too old. I will turn 35 this may and I have been playing since I was a teenager. My wife has been playing for the last 10 years and now my 11 year old, 12 this July, has started playing her first game.

That's the beauty of role playing. It doesn't matter how old you are (unless they are young you make it less graphic) everyone can pretend to be someone else for the day while gaming. My 6 year old keeps asking to play but I said she has to wait until she's a little bit older.

I have to agree with the others. Welcome to the party, pal. You're never too old to have fun.

 I am 41, 42 in October! And according to my collection I am a Hard Core Super FAN!!! In four more years, my collection will only grow so I can assume that 46 is an "ok" age to be a PB fan! Game on!

Welcome to the boards. I'll be 40 very soon, and you're only too old for something when you decide to give up on it.
