I was thinking about this and learned that the local game stores are pushing some newer game systems and hoping to have people run those first. Unfortunately I was told that they have not carried Palladium books for some time beyond what is currently on the shelves... I guess I have to wait for more...

Unfortunate - but people still produce material for Palladium books as Opensource material. I certainly have. No hard rules or conversions.

re: More subtle options... tech-wizard or Stone masters. They can hide the use of their magic with devices and stones. Pretty much using the item as a guise of, "I have no powers, it was all the machine. You should study that more. I have to get my grandmother for lunch now..." Sneaks away...

Everyone who has a chance to watch this show should. The GM has to manage many things and this guy does it very well. These guys have funny antics too. Make me giggle every once in a while.

Great responses... My answer is by touch regardless of what the character wears. now do make the exception with robot armor where the hand is not in the gauntlet of the power armor. My two sense. As long as the ruling is fair and fun, have at it. Let the damage be what it is and you can tone it down...

Interesting Approach over all. I like it. I would change a few things but it is new and interesting. When you level up, you should gain perks from the object as you master it. It would have to be monitored so you don't Mega hero in a game where that is not wanted though.

How about a business that has a themed restaurant upstairs and downstairs; a LAN, Arcade, tabletop area (with rentable scenery) a small game shop and say six themed rooms for rent, two each fantasy, modern, sci-fi, and rentable GMs on call if you need one?
