Man I am so excited for this, I absolutely love the Savage Worlds ruleset. I brought the sci fi companion and the fantasy companion to start my own personal project of making a Rifts game for my players and then shortly after Savage Rifts was announced. Pretty awesome news I must say.

I think you are grossly underestimated how much time and money goes into making games, even indie ones.

Even at the most basic of hiring 3 to 5 guys full time for a few years to pump out a game is obviously not going to be cheap.
