I'm not sure the brothers on the half shell are supposedly still around ....and if that's true they seem to stick with a longer life span ...unless the setting is only 110 years into the future...witch is the normal life span for some turtle species.

Danger man In my games I give modern weapon proficiencies +1 every 3 levels starting at 3. This only applies to aimed shots and burst fire.

how Irun my game is every 3 levels starting at level 3 ...is 3,6,9,12,15, you get 2 secondary skills that start at level one ...also I allow a mentor type to teach any skill but it takes time ...( like 6 months min) and you have to find some one who has the skill and is around long enough to teach it

My first encounter is going to be the local motorgang ( thing road hogs gang meets barbarian tribe) called the Mongrels...have just been trounced buy the tree guys when the group rolls up on a lone survivor who is bleeding out and starts screaming about the trees!! And points towards the city.
