Re: "I am Legion" Missing References
Thanks Shark_Force. That is exactly what I was thinking that they were references to unpublished material. I was just hoping that maybe Chuck could clarify such. It is indeed rather unfortunate that such a great IP is effectively stuck in limbo with so much unpublished material due to the bottleneck...

"I am Legion" Missing References
So after reading the "I Am Legion" Sourcebook I noticed that there are numerous references to unprinted material, especially in the stuff that was not previously in The Rifter. I check Chuck's DA to see if there were any illustrations that he posted on any of it and tried searching here in...

Re: Various Dimension Book Erratta
Clearly someone at Palladium can't count or Desslyth drops two minions on a world and calls it controlled. On page 124 of Dimension Book Five: Anvil Galaxy it states that Rynncryyl's 25 worlds and 20 billion creatures makes up "25% of the total Splugorth population in the Three Galaxies". ...

Re: Are there any MAJOR rules problems?
Afterburner isn't bad really. No worse then most planes in wargames are and the elders should run with the gnerls instead of pods to help with that. Except that adding them to a Gnerl Squadron means removing one of their greatest strengths in a Zent force, that of reinforcements. Since their point ...

I am picking option 5. While I seriously doubt that Wave 2 will make it by end of year. I am fine with waiting until summer. Of course Kevin really needs to provide a solid meaningful update on Wave 2 soon so at least we know where things stand realistically.

Re: Are there any MAJOR rules problems?
We have not had as many issues as others with the blast rules but they could use some tweaking. I have to agree on the Telnesta guns needing more range. Another issue that we have found is the afterburner rule. Making it mandatory movement rather than optional will really make the Glaug Eldarre fair...

Re: Just finished reading the latest KS update(s)
Personally, I think that going to 15mm scale will be the kiss of death for a game that is already struggling to find its place in the market. I would prefer to see the scale remain at 6mm but I would still probably support the game if the other eras went to 10mm. If it goes to 15mm I can safely say ...

Re: Questions for a FAQ
Mike, I would have to agree that we need official errata if there is going to be competitive play for this game. While common sense dictates the answers to most of what I posted (although I disagree with your view on number 3, as I cannot see a Zentraedi soldier shooting at Breetai... ever) an offic...

Re: Supplementary product wish list?
If they are going to put out anything additionally for the Macross era then I would have to vote for actual infantry figures for Breetai and Kyron. Just saying that one certain infantryman represents them is not going to really cut it for me.

Re: Rules questions: Convoy Vehicle (rulebook page 80)
This scenario is pure rubbish as written anyway. I honesty am not sure it was adequately play tested; as the defending player pretty much automatically wins if they get initiative on turn 2 and the battle is played on a head to head style map. The convoy vehicles are simply too fast and should not b...

Re: Rules Question: Life is Cheap
Lets examine how hard it is to kill a Glaug... Defense score is the highest in the game (tied with the Monster and the Gnerl)... They save against missles 50% of the time (Anti Missle-Missle systems are 4+)... Pods can shield them... Pods act as cover... So hitting a Glaug in a typical scenario (Gl...

Questions for a FAQ
I thought that I would start a single thread for possible questions that probably should be addressed in a FAQ. To start off with here are a few that we encountered: 1. Are Special Characters unique and limited to one of each allowed per force? 2. Can multiple Special Characters be placed into the s...

Re: So what should be next for RRPGT?
I have to agree with Andrew that they really need to promote the game a bit more. With the retail street date apparently set for November 26th, they have not really done much advertising for the system. They also really need to add pictures of high quality painted miniatures to the web site store as...

I am definately liking what I am seeing so far with the figures. In at the $140 level myself but may pick up one or two add ons as well later. I hope that we will see some more variety as well down the line (Male/Female Zent Power Armor, Monster Destroid, Recon Pods, Artillery Pods, etc.).

Check out Rifts Lemuria for undersea creations
Since we are generally starved for new Splicers material, I thought that I would mention checking out Rifts Lemuria. It basically reads like Splicers Undersea. There are tons of useable bio-armors, bio-weapons and war mounts that would translate right over into Splicers, especially for an underwater...

Re: Rifts Lemuria has shipped
The artwork is fantastic and the writing quite good. Lemuria is defiantely interesting and worth the wait of so many years since it was first listed as in the queue. Due to the artwork style and organic content, the book really did read like a "Splicers Undersea". In fact, I plan to recomm...
