The quick answer is yes, early books say that all Nightbane started as orphans that didn't know who their parents were. The Survival Guide talks about Nightbane parents keeping their children but I would argue this is extremely rare.

In order to change rpg.net guests attitudes on PB they need to have PB itself start addressing issues and changing people's attitudes. We as fans can argue with them all we want but unless the company itself steps in, I'm afraid not much will change.

I agree with Shawn on this. I've seen individuals on that site that are great on other forums but trolls on rpg.net. I use the site to try and promote my company but am involved very little since I've been unnecessarily burned in the past.

Because we clearly need more mirror walking assassinations, yes, bring on the Nightbane magic. That's a reason a NB magic book isn't high on priorities. I'd personally change this as mentioned above that it is a mind-affecting ability. The illusion only affects those that are the targets leaving others around him/her confused as to what team mate is seeing that's not really there.

I've always been curious about the Atorians. Having more toys is nice, but I've noticed that most groups have little trouble coming up with their own. Very true. I'd do this unfortunately time is an issue. If I remember correctly the number of attacks is determined in the hth section of the rules. Basically you always get 2 attacks and get two more at level one with a hth combat option ie basic, expert, martial art etc.

For me it's the Coalition. They have a lot of resources compared to other North American powers, save the Splugorth, as well as enough brain washed people they could throw at an enemy force.

For me it makes sense that hounds and their ilk can mirror-walk, makes them that much more dangerous. At the same time my house rule would be that it is more difficult for them to do so. Give Nightbane's some advantage in that field.

Sad but unfortunately true. This is the first game I wrote an article for and so tried to get involved on the Lazlo site but just didn't get into it. Just never enjoyed pbp type things so went back to what I was good at and enjoyed.

Would I want more spells for NB? Sure, who doesn't? But there is so much more to explore than just a book of spells. Give me locations in the world or darklands, flesh them out and then include spells and some new monsters.
