Re: Savage Rifts wave 2 announced!!!

It would be a very bad idea to run a Palladium linked kickstarter directly in the aftermath of Palladium abandoning a $1.4 million dollar project crowdfunded by over 5,000 customers. Yes, Savage Rifts is technically made by a different company that had nothing to do with the RRPGT mess but it is a l...

Well, sadly, we don't have to worry about this any more. The latest update has come out, and its officially dead. And it looks like I guessed right. Wave 1 took up all the money, with a bounce of extra costs. I'm sad that this has happened. I am too. I wonder how Palladium managed to pay for all th...

If there is no update by the 28th, we'll officially be at one update in full two months instead of every two weeks. It seems that Scott has adjusted quite nicely to the traditional ebb and flow of the Palladium production schedule and has eschewed all those pesky calendar dates that get in way of th...

There are certainly some valid questions there regarding a project that was supposed to take a little over 6 months to complete that is coming up on 60 months with no end in sight. I don't think you'll get any answers from Palladium though.

I can't see Sony handing over a dime, at least not to Palladium. If Tatsunoko doesn't work with HG when the deadline comes up, presumably those who have the license through working with HG are also up the creek, and Tatsunoko/Sony can sort things out however they like. I think Heroes of Humanity was right on the bubble (may have been very late 2016, but I know a lot of folks got in early 2017). I think otherwise, only Secrets of Atlanteans came out. Yup, I got it last night. Unfortunately, it's just an update with lots of errors that mentions nothing about the remaining unfulfilled rewards from the 2013 project. I guess that statement from Kevin about 2017 being a "must" for Palladium to release Robotech's second wave didn't pan out.
