How does mind block affect the familiar bond?
If these creatures dislike being away from their bond partner, how would they react to suddenly being cut off?
Or does the ritual create/maintain a back channel (like a VPN) between mage and familiar?
Would it also protect the familiar?

DB6 pg 104 through 108 The personal scanning equipment These things are supposed to be one of the more common hand held tools for any tech/medic/science officer, etc. (think that nifty device from that show about trekking through the stars) They seem really handy, except the price tag. Re: FUNNIEST IDEAS FOR RIFTS CARACTERS
I have a new player in my rifts game (new to rifts, not rpg's). She's got a hatchling Royal Frilled Dragon who is about 30 days old. Before attacking she asks the Dragon Cat the Knight of the Rose has for a mount if such-and-such is tasty, if yes, she atacks with the party, if not she licks the near...

I find it to be incredibly unnerving actually, and I love robots.
When the guy tried to knock it over I thought it was going to walk back and kick him.

My feelings are that the garage probably has a large amount of parts and a good bead on getting more. The lone operator has to scrounge, beg, borrow, steal their parts. That's costs them cash. Also, their servies are highly specialized and mobile. I'd say that the ability as written is what it costs...

As far as writing down your spells for posterity, somce schools could require you to write down your more powerful (above 4th level) spells so that you enrich the school. My main issue with the power is that in groups with skill based characters, the psychic can sort of lord over them all, at least until the ISP run out. Also, as a caster attains new power levels, their spell power increases topping out at 16 for everyone but the TW who tops out at 15. Funny, I find the casters to be incredibly effective when used properly. Throwing Stones is one of the most economical uses of PPE of any spell in the game. 5 PPE, 2 Melee rounds, 1d6+1/level At 5th level you can hit 6 attacks per melee easily, so that's 11 rocks to be thrown with an average 88 MDC ...
