Re: Is Palladium healthy enough for a new idea for rpg's?,

How about 21th Century version of Red Dawn or Homefront video game setting, America is occupied by an Invasion force, the players are rebels out gunned and have to use what they find to strike back, this isn't an one shot RPG book idea.

Re: Is Palladium healthy enough for a new idea for rpg's?,

Yeah I'm planning to submit for the Rifter, I want to create an official hero character like Lord Coake who will effect Rifts.

I heard before Lord Coake became an official plot character he was play tested, um would I have to do that?.

Re: Is Palladium healthy enough for a new idea for rpg's?,

Well first off it was Harry Tuttledove that turn me onto Alt History, on a alt history it's the little details that hook people like in Wolfenstein New Order how they recorded famous 60's songs in German an creating a fake record company to get around the royalties problem, that a major problem when...

Re: Is Palladium healthy enough for a new idea for rpg's?,

Sounds like Kevin is bias against Alt history and secret history, hey I like Cyberpunk as well.

Now Alt history does sell look at Deadlands, also look ta Wolfenstein the New Order.

My hook is this the players are out gunned, dealing with large forces like in that Homefront

You mnetion that he should start his kingdom small this is true, and the CS is the Evil Empire of North America in Rifts.

His Imperial Kingdom is however bostered by the Tolken refugess that came out of the fall of that Kingdom,

Re: A idea for a new official Rifts American kingdom/empire

Well you must remember that Rifts cities are mix of Middle Ages with salted with high tech treasures from the Pre Rifts era,

This Hapsburg like Empire also has Three Breweries, One official and Two minor ones.

Good this Emperor is Princeable remember, he also welcoming Tolken refuges as well.

So the empire would be across the West Coast up and down, down untill the Vampires, up through BC until Alaska.

My thoughts on Dead Reign

Hi first off I hope this isn't going to be another one shot rpg book, Secondly have they officially explained in the book why the Dead are rising and hunting after Humans?.

To me it sounds like a Bio weapon that went bad, shades of Restant Evil.

Re: A Mutant animal Inherit the Earth like setting

Yes but I think that an Inherit the Earth like inspired setting would make for interesting RPG series at least, also the Human tech that is left behind could be retro raygun tech like in Fallout series I think that would mess very well with the Middle Ages for Furry racial tribes and empires. But I ...
