Re: Open request for official Update
Not sure how accurate statements are trolling, but nonetheless... My point stands. Without evidence to back up the claims made, you must remain skeptical. I stand by my assertion that monies were spent and none remain from the initial kickstarter. If they do, it would be easy enough for K.S. to scre...

Re: News on the upcoming Rifts Board Game
Neither of you have any proof to back up either of your claims. Was it the Savage Worlds fans that gave it such a great Kickstarter? Was it all the Palladium lovers backing it? Was it people who liked the idea of Rifts but hated Palladium's house system? I prefer to think it's a little of column &qu...

I'm sure the funds that didn't pay for Wave 1 were used to settle old debts/pay for books to be printed (a mix of both, in my guess) since that would meet Kevin's claim (in his mind, anyway) that it "wasn't wasted" and he expected he would be able to pay for development and manufacturing ...

I believe the system from the OP is that a 1d4 MD weapon does 1d4 straight to HP, bypassing SDC, not 1d4 x 100. How could that ever be considered a fix? Also, it makes quite a bit of the artwork make sense where people are all shot up by MD weapons, but not a blasted pile of goo as the system would ...

I've been watching this go back and forth, and the main issue that Palladium combat rules have is the fact that they are flat-out unbalanced and unrealistic. Frankly, I'm surprised no-one has mentioned this. There aren't supposed to be one-shot kills. In fact, by the rules, a one man sniper or gueri...

One thing I've been wanting to see, is a nanotech-augmented OCC. But then, I just re-installed Deus Ex a few days ago, so I may have been thinking about that. Wouldn't that be the various Juicers? Juicers are chemically enhanced. The only thing even resembling nano tech on a juicer is the biocomp w...

I kinda like the Chaosium BRP (CoC) rules, where each bullet fired in a 'burst' added a +5% to hit (so a +1) and you then got a 1dX roll (preferably you fire bursts in a dice size that you have available) where X is the number of shots you got. Say you had a SMG skill at 40%... you fire a 10 round b...
